Numakers PETG Translucent combines a semi-transparent, light-diffusing finish with everything PETG is known for: toughness, strong layer adhesion and good chemical resistance. Prints come out with a glossy, glass-like surface that catches and scatters light, so the material suits decorative work as readily as functional parts.

It prints smoothly with minimal warping, needs no enclosure, and runs on an ordinary hot end - making it an easy step up from PLA for anyone who wants see-through parts without moving to a difficult material.

What it is good for

• Vases, lamp shades and light diffusers - the translucency is the point
• Display models, signage and decorative panels with a glossy, glass-like finish
• Functional parts needing toughness and chemical resistance - PETG does not become brittle like PLA
• Temperature resistance to 70°C, high toughness, low warping, no odour while printing
• Nine translucent colours: Blue, Ice Blue, Arctic, Pink, Hot Pink, Red, Orange, Green and Yellow

Recommended print settings

• Nozzle: 240 ± 10°C - no special hot end required
• Bed: 80-90°C, heated bed recommended; enclosure not required
• Print surface: PEI, glass plate, painter’s tape or glue stick
• Cooling: part cooling fan required, 20-50% fan speed
• Layer height: 0.15 mm or more; prints well at high speed

Dry before use. Like all PETG, this filament picks up moisture from the air and must be dried to get a clean, glossy, bubble-free surface. Store it sealed with desiccant between prints.
